1. Devil’s Advocates was formed in 2006 by four former members of the black metal band Tunrida. The line-up stayed the same as in Tunrida for the guitarist, bass player and drummer, and the keyboard player switched to second guitar. Vocalist Yuppi joined later on and is known, among other things, from the metal band Darcasis.
2. The former Tunrida-keyboardist Pera is Devil’s Advocates´ main song and lyric-writer.
3. The band plays old-school death metal with black metal bits. And a rock 'n' roll attitude.
4. Devil’s Advocates main driving force and message is to promote all forms of blasphemy and disgust towards all religions.
5. The band’s musical direction is guitar-bass-drums -based simple and effective metal with no over-the-top symphonic arrangements or any that kind of shit.
6. Devil’s Advocates uses computers only when absolutely necessary and never uses keyboards nor female vocals in their music.
7. Devil’s Advocates promote a satanic way of life and indulges on all carnal pleasures, mainly drinking, overeating, fucking and everything that’s simply fun. On the more serious side, we believe in self-confidence, honour, family life and a scientific view of the world.
8. The band doesn’t represent anything that is supernatural, nor do we believe in santa claus.
9. Main musical influences are late 80’s/early 90’s leading death metal -bands. With a taste of classic heavy metal and old-school black metal.
10. Devil’s Advocates doesn’t put different religions in any order, but hates them all equally. The nerd-worshipping christians, the vengeful psycho-god worshipping jews, the fucked up muslims, the self-righteous meditating buddhists, the hindu-weirdos and all the other fucking idiots are all the same shit to us. The shit being the weakness of man and the fear to take life and death as it is and to rely on fairytale beings or pseudo-science. But the hate for Christianity is the closest thing to us, since we have to deal with it in everyday life and it effects cunningly our children from every direction!
